How will the lander know whether the collected rocks are original moon rocks or fragments of a recent meteor?

i'm sure it's all about the minerals on the moon.

The chemical composition would be entirely different! Like, there are so many details that we still need to learn, but the basic composition of the moon's surface, moon's interior, and asteroids/meteors/comments are essentially understood

@ DJ AskTheQuestion One more important thing re: poison ivy -- good, I hope! -- is that contrary to common fear, the fluid from poison ivy skin blisters does _not_ contain and transmit the plants irritating chemical. So if your blisters burst unnoticed and you touch another part of your body, fortunately the skin infection won't spread. Is that accurate?
