@liv.laf.luv I am not originally from here, I've been all over, moved here a little over 10 years ago, was involved in a community radio station here for 6 years, then in 2020 the "ish" hit the fan and I had to get away from it. St. Pete was really fun the middle of last decade with tons of great shows, but gentrification ruined some of the scene...

@LLL I'm a big fan of U of FL at Gainesville! I love Gainesville.

@Matt, I live a short distance from the Metal Club called the Brass Mug that hosts most of the underground metal shows. But I haven't been there in a while, saw some great shows there. ...yes, I always stick around, that's why I love Thursday evenings on WPRB...

matt~ I spent 0% of my time in gainesville and I regret it cuz it seems cool as heck. my friend recently opened a record store in gainesv, sunshine records i think its called 🤔

@liv.laf.luv.. do you live within the WPRB terrestrial signal range? I had a show on WMNF the station really wanted to do a WXPN on the cheap playing radio safe music....

But I almost passed out in Gainesville from the summer heat. Thank goodness for pools and AC and soda machines.

@LLL Gainesville is so cool, a little island of academia and music and culture in the north FL swamplands. A real gem.

John & Peter's nice! Do you remember the head shop Now & Then that was right before the bridge? I loved that place, I miss the old New Hope.

First time I smoked weed me and my friend skipped school and his older sister and her friends took us to New Hope and smoked us out lol. I remember stealing a Snapple from the ice cream store.

DSM I do! I bought sunglasses there like Al Jourgensen of Ministry had 😂 I miss the Mexican food place that used to be there. I just went to Triumph Brewery recently and it was good.

Lambertville is kinda cool too. River towns are always funky.
