I do hope it will inform your many listeners and boost efforts to stomp out (literally!) the invasive Spotted Lanternfly which threatens to do serious damage to many American vegetables and fruits (especially grapes).

Also thanks for the dinosaur research news, and noting these creatures perennial fascination for children. I once attended a talk by the great contemporary paleontologist Jack Horner. Early on, Jack told the adults, "If you have any questions, ask a child sitting near you. They know more than you do. Let me repeat that: Children know more about dinosaurs than grownups do."

Ahhh right thank you! I made some shirts earlier in the spring with brood x and SLFs on them and totally forgot that I too have the cicadas red eyes and the SLFs that small red patch!

A+ to all! Alien hypothesis: we can't find any UFOs because all the extraterrestrials are bugs. They're intelligent enough to visit us, for sure, but between hibernating for 17 years at a time and eating grapes they don't have much time to visit

I had been making them one at a time or by request, but kinda stopped ever since I've gotten busier during the summer (each shirt, especially the showdown hoedown, took a while to make). I must be skeptical about multi-learning styles. I definitely learn skills and procedures MUCH better "hand on", kinesthetically. If I'm just visually shown I don't retain it. That's my 2 cents. All best!

Thanks, Richard! I definitely think "kinestetic" learning is probably the easiest to leave behind, and we'd do well to broaden our approaches to include it.
