Six Original Podcasts Produced by Seniors in Communication & Media at Assumption University

As part of their process in making the leap from students of communication to proficient communication specialists, seniors in the capstone seminar for Communication & Media are proud to share a set of six original podcast series. Each series address something that matters in public culture. What is more, each series showcases the creativity and ingenuity of students producing content at the top of their game in particularly challenging times. Please Tune in on Monday afternoons between 3 and 4pm to hear what these seniors have to say about coffee and cultural identity, the unspoken origin stories of popular libations, history as it’s represented—and misrepresented—in Hollywood films, the contradictions of so-called cancel culture, anime and its role in reconciling fantasy with reality (and vice versa), and the role of memes in dealing with natural disasters and human catastrophes. These podcasts are part of a truly inspired rendition of “The College Connection,” produced each year by seniors in Communication & Media at Assumption University.
